E-mail hoax
When I read the Even Trembley e-mail, at first I was a little worried about him. But I noticed a couple of things. First of all, they gave no specific information. They didn't include where he went missing, when he went missing (aside from "two weeks ago", which could mean anything), or the conditions under which he went missing (camping trip, never came home from school, went missing with friends, etc.). But still, I thought maybe the mother was just to worried and distracted to think to include more specific information. Then, after searching through google, I found that it was a hoax. That Even created the e-mail himself as a joke with his friends. That is just mean. He obviously didn't consider the fact that once it got around people would actually start to worry about him and his wellbeing. The websites I saw gave good evidence about why these e-mails were not real. For example, it was identical to another hoax e-mail that was about a 13 year old girl. That might tip someone off.
